The Woman’s Club of Morristown helps numerous people within the community-and they depend on the generosity of supporters like you. Donations can be made for the following programs:
To respect, honor and thank veterans and active duty members of the United States Armed Forces for their bravery, patriotism, and sacrifice that has been given so freely by them. It is our duty to support and honor our U.S. Military service members and veteran’s who protect our freedom and security. We give gift bags 4 times a year to the veterans at the Lyons VA hospital.
Preservation of The Dr. Lewis Condict House
In 1937, our Club House, The Dr. Lewis Condict House, built in 1797, opened. The building was declared a New Jersey Historic Site in 1971 and placed on the National register of Historic Places in 1973.
People walking past the white Federal clapboard house with the white picket fence, admire and marvel that it still exists and is so well preserved—but maintaining its place in history is very costly and very time consuming. In addition to service, The Woman’s Club of Morristown must focus its efforts on the preservation of this beautiful historic house.
Awards Scholarships annually to Morristown High School senior females.
Founded in 1971, this annual campaign distributes new clothing, toys, house-hold items, pharmaceuticals and gift certificates to the needy during the holiday season. The cases are authenticated by the more than 10 social service agencies that are recipients of this project. In conjunction with the Daily Record, two million dollars has been raised over the past 44 years.
