MORRISTOWN, NJ, September 15, 2016 – The Woman’s Club of Morristown is currently hosting its fourth annual "Bra Drive" to benefit women in need.  New and lightly used bras can be dropped off at the Woman's Club headquarters, 51 South Street, Morristown, weekdays between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.  The cutoff date for collection is November 1.

All sizes and styles are needed, including specialized models like post-surgery and maternity bras.  The garments must be in good, wearable condition, with functional clasps and straps.  Tags should be left on new bras.  Previously worn bras should be laundered.  The garments will be distributed to Howard’s Mission and Dress for Success Morris County.  Those few bras deemed unwearable will be sent to The Bra Recyclers, an Arizona-based textile recycling company whose mission is to reduce the amount of textiles going to landfills by recycling or reusing them.  Additional information can be found at www.brarecycling.com.

Howard's Mission is a direct hand-to-hand, person-to-person outreach program serving homeless men, women, and children on the streets.  The non-profit’s volunteers make weekly stops in Manhattan with food and clothing.  Howard’s Mission is based in Cedar Knolls.  Learn more at https://www.facebook.com/GellmanFoundation/.

Dress for Success Morris County, based in Madison, offers long-lasting solutions that enable women to break the cycle of poverty and obtain safer and better futures.  It provides its clients with professional attire and the confidence to help them secure employment.  More information is available at https://morriscounty.dressforsuccess.org/.
